Obituary for Carl Everitt Austin Sr.
Mr. Carl Austin, Sr., age 82 of Indian Mound, TN passed away December 30, 2020 at his residence. He was born April 10, 1938 the son of the late Leonard and Lucy Austin. Mr. Carl served his country in the US Army. He was a farmer and worked at Trane Company.
In addition to his family, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Gladys Austin; son, David Austin; brothers, David Austin, Jack Austin, Danny Austin, Brad Austin, Lewis Austin; sisters, Alberta Shaw, Janie Devito, Brenda Jenkins, and one great grandchild.
He is survived by his sons, Lennie Austin, Tennessee Ridge, TN, Carl Austin, Jr., Tennessee Ridge, TN, James Austin, Tennessee Ridge, TN; daughter, Debra Jones, Clayton, N.C.; brother, Malcolm Austin; sisters, Alice Sanders, Paducah, KY, and Linda Cochran, Chicago Heights, IL. He was blessed with eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, January 4, 2021 at 11:00 am until the hour of service at 1:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Dover, TN with Bro. Ben Clark and Bro. Garrette Milliken conducting the service. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
