Obituary for Billy Ewing McGovern
Mr. Billy Ewing McGovern, age 80, of Clarksville, TN, passed away Friday, June 5, 2020. He was born May 2, 1940 in Stewart County, TN, son of the late Ewing and Elerena Mullins McGovern. Mr. McGovern retired from Trane Co.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his, wife, Louise McGovern, brothers, Joe McGovern and Jackie McGovern, sisters, Nellie Hinton, June Griven, and Patsy Glenn, and his grandson, Wesley Todd Page.
Survivors include his daughters, Sandra Earhart, Big Rock, Penny Nichols, Indian Mound, sister, Nancy Bogard, and brother, Teddy McGovern.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, June 8, 2020 at Anglin Funeral Home, with John Maltais officiating, burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Sunday at Anglin Funeral Home and from 11:00 am until the time of service Monday.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Shepherd, Jeff Moore, Billy Parks, Bronson Phillips, Carlos Nichols, and Larry Surtees.
Arrangements are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, TN.
