Betty Juanita Summers, age 88 of Dover, TN was called to meet her Heavenly Father at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN on September 29, 2021. She was born on June 10, 1933 the daughter of Roy and Earline Parker Milliken. She was the original owner of Betty’s Florist until her retirement in the 1980’s. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Big Rock Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Roy Summers.
Siblings; Imogene Austin, Nettie Heflin, Ocie Tyson, Maxie, Lewis, Charlie and Zannie Milliken.

She is survived by her children; Michael (Brenda) Summers, Stephen (Wanda) Summers and Yvonne (Allen) Cook, grandchildren; Chris (Rebecca) Summers, Stephanie Zarka, Scott Summers, Matthew (Adriana) Cook and Nicholas (Shawna) Cook, 4 great-grandchildren, siblings Peggy Nolin and Donna Reed.

There will be a graveside service held at Dunbar Chapel Cemetery, Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 2:00 pm with Bro. David Whitehead and Bro. Garrette Milliken officiating. Those serving as pallbearers will be Chris Summers, Scott Summers, Matthew Cook, Nicholas Cook, Jonathan Summers and Dustin Lewis.
