Ms. Barbara Riggs, age 79, of Dover, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020, at her home. She was born December 21, 1940 in Arkansas, daughter of the late James and Macie Johnson Murray. Ms. Riggs was a caregiver and she attended Long Creek Church of the Nazarene.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Riggs and a sister, Betty Richardson. Survivors include her children, Donna Ward (Dale) of Dover, Keith Riggs (Cindy) of Ark., and Don Riggs, Jr. (Cheryl) of Savannah ,Mo.; brothers, Jim Murray, Benny Murray, Jackie Murray, and David Murray; sisters, Mary Williams and Jo Bishop, all of Arkansas. She is blessed with 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Barry Hart officiating. Burial will follow in the Stewart County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until the time of service on Tuesday at Anglin Funeral Home. Family will serve as pallbearers.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Stewart County Humane Society or Long Creek Church of the Nazarene.
