Obituary for Archie Lee Myers
Archie Lee Myers, age 71, of Dover, TN, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Centennial Medical Center, Nashville, TN. He was born August 6, 1949 in Dover, TN, to the late Douglas and Brooxie Joiner Myers. Archie was a member of the Lineport Masonic Lodge #207 and was a Member of the 3rd Degree Motorcycle Club. He worked at Thun Bicycle Co. in Clarksville, TN for over 20 years and most recently worked at the Bi-County Landfill.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Tim Costin. He is survived by his beloved family; his wife, Lori Wallace Myers; children, Sandy McElroy (Luke), Carol ‘Nana’ Hillis (Chris), Kevin Myers, Julie Morgan (Jason), Amie Myers Roby (Dustin), Cody Myers (Aspen), and Vanda Lambert (Jay); brother, James Myers (Elise); sister, Joyce Costin; 16 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation for Archie will be on Monday, March 22, 2021 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm on Monday at Anglin Funeral Home with Tony Baggett officiating. A Masonic service will precede the funeral service. Burial will follow in the Heflin Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Frankie Gray, Ian Smith, Dale Harris, Derek Sumner, Shelby Thomas, Wes Myers, and Russ Keatts. Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Downs, Dunning Cheatham, and Jeff ‘Free bird’ Allen.
