Mona Rene Murphy, 50 of Indian Mound, TN passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Funeral services will be on Friday, March 25, 2016 at 10:00 am at the Potter’s Hand Church with Shane Knight officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 4-8:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home and on Friday, March 25, 2016 from 9-10:00 am at the Potter’s Hand Church.
She was born July 28, 1965 in Fort Reilly, KS daughter of Roy West, Sr. and Margaret Bird West. Mrs. Murphy was a warehouse supervisor for CDE and a member of The Tabernacle Church. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death her son, Richard Murphy. Survivors include her mother of Indian Mound, TN, husband, Charles “Chuck” Murphy, Indian Mound, TN, son, Randy Bowers (Amy), Indian Mound, TN, daughters, Misty Waynick (Josh “Frog”), Indian Mound, TN, Mickey Murphy, Wellsville, NY, brothers, Roy West, Jr., Clarksville, TN, Richard West, Indian Mound, TN, sisters, Roanne “Rain” Gray, Sevierville, TN, Myrna Travis, Clarksville, TN and 7 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
